Daniel's car. It's kind of a cross between a shark and a jet fighter. And a car (of course...).
And here are Daniel's cars from his three years in Cub Scouts. Every year his design ideas get just a bit wilder...
He's always disappointed that it doesn't do better in the racing, but we always spend most of the time on the design, and then slap the wheels on at the last moment, so it's not surprising that his cars usually aren't all that fast. This year he was probably in the top third or so -- he didn't make it into the finals, but won most of the heats he was in, so he was pretty happy about it overall.
And finally, here he is with his ribbon for "most original design."

that is an awesome car. i can't wait to show calvin. he's going to love that part of cub scouts.
Now, was this really Daniel's car or was it Dave's car? I sure hope Daniel got to touch it before he actually raced it! Just Kidding.
