On Thursday, April 26, Andrew finally wrapped up the educational career he's been working on for most of his life. He was actually planning to stay on for graduate school, but after several job offers and consulting with people from a variety of companies, he decided it was best to accept a job offer and say farewell to his college career, at least for now.
We went down to the graduation ceremony, leaving early in the morning and getting to Provo just in time to check into the hotel, get changed, pick up Andrew and Lisa and Logan, and head to the Marriott Center. Daniel met us there.
Across the crowded arena we found Andrew in the sea of other graduates. Yay for zoom lenses!
The speakers were all really good, and included university president (and my former bishop) Kevin Worthen
as well as Elder Jeffrey R. Holland.
And then it was over.
The bros in their color-coordinated shirts.
The campus is beautiful in the spring.
