Andrew didn't.
Everybody, especially Daniel, had a lot of fun coming up with really corny suggestions as to how he could respond. In the end, he decided to stay with the literal "sweet" theme of baked goods, and made her cupcakes...
...with writing on the plates underneath the cupcakes.
Meanwhile, Lisa asked a guy in her orchestra. I didn't get a photo of the poster she made to invite him, but it said something like "you'd have to be blind not to see that we should go to Sweethearts together," and then had her name written in Braille. Here's what she got as a response:
