Hip to be (on Temple) Square

On the way back from EFY Lisa and I stopped at Temple Square.

We met Hiromi, an old friend from the days of the BYU Japan Club.

We also had a rather surprising encounter. We were walking between the Church History Museum and Family History Library when somebody called to us. I didn't think anything of it, because Hiromi works at the FHL, so if anybody was calling to us it would likely be somebody that knew her. Besides, we get to Salt Lake about once or twice per decade, who could possibly know us? But it turned out to be my cousin Randal, who had stopped on his way south to go to a baby blessing. It was fun to see him and Stephanie for a few minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of them.

Other than that, Lisa took photos....

...and enjoyed looking at the temple...

...and meeting Brother Joseph...

...and walking around the reflecting pool...

...and getting right up to the temple.

It was pretty cool.

On a semi-related note, here are a few bonus photos of the Provo temple.
