Here's the program.

The awards ready to be presented.

Shane Reeder, Andrew's current advisor (and father to Nate, the other young man receiving his Eagle), talks about the Eagle projects. Andrew and I are also home teachers for the Reeders.

The presentations begin.

Andrew and Nate with Blake Hansen, who conducted the Court. Blake was also Andrew's Varsity Scout coach for a while. It was nice to have so many of Andrew's past advisors participating.

Andrew presenting pins to the parents.

Ron Ursenbach, member of the Scout Committee, administers the Eagle Charge. Andrew and I were Ursenbach's home teachers for a year or two, and they would consistently ask how he was doing on Scouting and Duty to God, and encouraged him to keep working on them. We were glad he and Sister Ursenbach could attend, and that he was able to be part of the program.

Yumiko presents Andrew with the Eagle badge.

It's official!

Daniel in the audience.
Eric Garner was the Scoutmaster for most of the time Andrew was in the main troop. He wrapped up the Court of Honor with a Scoutmaster's Minute on "the daffodil principle," talking about how small effort continued over a long period of time can accomplish great things.

Way to go, Andrew!!!
